This product is carefully formulated from high quality base stocks and is made with an advanced additive system.  This helps it to provide controlled frictional properties and compatibility with aqueous metal working fluids.  It also provides corrosion protection of parts and equipment.  The unique additive package also provides exceptional frictional properties for steel on steel and steel on polymer.  This helps to reduce stick slip and chatter, which in turn allows smooth, uniform motion at design travel speeds.

Mobil Vactra 2 Way oil has been developed to provide an extra margin of machinery protection.  This satisfies the stringent demands of slide ways.  It exhibits excellent lubricity and load carrying performance which contributes to improving the production of parts.  Vactra oil provides separability from many water and aqueous coolants.  Thus reducing the potential negative effects of cross contamination.

Mobil Vactra Oil No. 1 and No. 2 are recommended for horizontal slideways on small to medium size machine tools. They are also suitable for circulating application in large machines and as a moderate duty hydraulic fluid.
